FAQs
Are the ceramics food safe?
Yes! All of my ceramic pieces are made with food-safe clay and glazes, and fired to be durable enough for everyday use — whether that’s a casual Tuesday night pasta or a full croissant spread.
Can I put ceramics in the dishwasher or microwave?
Hand-washing is best to keep them looking their prettiest, but most pieces can handle a gentle dishwasher cycle. Microwave-safe? Yes, unless otherwise noted (metallic or specialty glazes may vary — I’ll always include that info in the listing).
How durable are your ceramics?
Each piece is built to be functional and beautiful — think art you can actually use. They’re sturdy, but still handmade, so treat them like the little treasures they are.
Do you take commissions?
Yes! I love creating custom pieces — whether it’s a painting for a particular space or a set of ceramics with your dream color palette. Just reach out through the contact form, and we’ll make a plan.
How long does a custom order take?
It depends on the project, but generally:
– Ceramics: 4–6 weeks
– Paintings: 3–5 weeks
Rush options may be available — feel free to ask!
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, I ship within the U.S., but I’m happy to work with you to find a way if you’re abroad. Just reach out before placing an order!
Can I pick up locally?
If you’re in Charlotte, NC — yes!
Do your paintings come framed?
Paintings are sold unframed unless otherwise noted. If you’d like framing help or recommendations, I’ve got you — just ask.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
Every piece is one of a kind, so expect slight variations — that’s the beauty of handmade. Colors may vary a little based on your screen, but I do my best to capture them accurately.
What if something breaks in shipping?
I pack everything carefully and insure all shipments. If something arrives damaged, send me a photo within 48 hours and I’ll make it right.
