Custom Ceramics + Art for Restaurants
Designed by a chef. Built by hand. Painted by feel. Inspired by your space.
Everything I make is rooted in the sensory world of food, art, and atmosphere. As an accessories designer turned chef turned ceramicist and painter, I bring a layered, lived-in approach to creating work that enhances the experience of dining—on the plate and in the room.

About
the artist
My name is Brit Obenauer, though I paint under my middle names, Keiko Ivonne—a tribute to the two grandmothers who passed them down to me. These women inspire me to follow my heart, trust myself, and continually expand my creative boundaries.
While painting has long been my first love, I took one ceramics class and was immediately hooked. What started as curiosity quickly became another essential part of my practice. I fell for the texture, the tactility, the way clay remembers every touch. Now, alongside paintings made for your walls, I create ceramics meant for your hands and table—artful, everyday objects designed to be lived with.
I find inspiration in the textures, colors, and light that surround us—from wet asphalt drying in Brooklyn, to the sun rising over the ocean, to the swooshes of frosting on a cake. These fleeting moments form the foundation of my work.
Each piece, whether painted or hand-built, is created with a specific feeling and place in mind. My paintings are designed to complement the energy of a room—amplifying or softening its presence. My ceramics are made to become part of daily rituals, bringing a little beauty to the ordinary moments we hold most dear.
